The purpose of your presentation is to turn the “what” of your information into the “so what” of your message (p1). Sadly, most presentations leave the audience adding a question mark to that sentence. <\/span><\/p>\n

Information in and of itself may not be interesting. Take for instance your contacts database. It is simply a list of names and numbers arranged in alphabetical\u00a0order. Sharing this “what” in the standard method of presentations would lead an audience to despair. Linking the people\u00a0of different social groups, friends, and then relations, showing pictures and telling stories will engage the audience and this data will become more relevant and memorable such that they will want to know more. This is turning a “what” into a “so what”.\u00a0<\/span>
