With a clear understanding of the brief (something to do with eight and presentations) I thought and thought and thought and came up with precisely nothing around the concept of eight. Sometimes it can be like that with a presentation. What is really required is inspiration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ffolliet.com\/staging\/its-alright-for-you-youre-gifted\/\">Presenting is a skill<\/a>, not an art. It develops with <a href=\"https:\/\/ffolliet.com\/staging\/the-practice-of-presentations\/\">practise<\/a> and feedback and experience and everyone can be a better presenter than they currently are by application. What really makes an impact is inspiration. Over the years it has been my <a href=\"https:\/\/ffolliet.com\/staging\/ive-seen-things-you-people-wouldnt-believe\/\">pleasure to share ideas <\/a>on presentation skills and one of the most consistent pieces of feedback is that this approach gives presenters an <a href=\"https:\/\/ffolliet.com\/staging\/presenting-using-the-p-cubed-method-a-lesson-in-educational-liberation\/\">opportunity to express themselves.<\/a> They are freed from the shackles of bulletpoints and that <a href=\"https:\/\/ffolliet.com\/staging\/creativity\/\">allows inspiration to make the difference<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ffolliet.com\/staging\/effective-communication\/\">Presentations are about effective communication<\/a>. Knowledge of the particular audience and their background and the desire to connect is what allows the space for inspiration to make that magical link. It is where I came up with the ideas of <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/qFza3W87eDg\">balloons<\/a>, of <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/qSb1gLBn-Pc\">kintsugi<\/a> and of &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/smacc.net.au\/2016\/12\/things-that-scare-me\/\">what scares me<\/a>&#8220;. Such inspiration can come to anyone, like a gift on the eighth day of Christmas.
