In a previous post I recalled my sadness of hearing a colleague say “what he suggests is interesting, but I wouldn\u2019t do it for an important presentation<\/a>.” He was expressing the difficulty of change, the challenge of stepping out from the crowd and of understanding partially the problem of presentations but not fully understanding the benefits. I understand that but lamented that truth.<\/p>\n

It is with pride and humility that I share with you that the same colleague, without direction or instruction from me, sent me his script and presentation for our international scientific meeting. It was a beautiful little presentation. It had just the bare elements of a perfect story illustrated just amazingly. He told me it was hugely well received; the perfect presentation. I actually shed a little tear. Credit where credit is due.<\/p>\n
